North Berwick Golf Club - West Links

Golf is as natural as the sky is blue in North Berwick. It has been played in this region since the 17th century, and North Berwick - West Links is one of the most famouse courses on earth. The club was formed in 1832 and proudly lays along the waters edge of the Firth of Forth with breathtaking views of the islands of Bass Rock, Craigleith, Lamb and Fidra, as well as the town of North Berwick itself.

Perhaps not quite as well known as some of its neightbours like Muirfield and Gullane Golf Club - No. 1 Links, but North Berwick is as good all the same. The course is regularly used as a qualifying venue for The Open Championship, which is proof of the quality of the product.

North Berwick - west Links is a true championship course having hosted many events over the years including the British Amateur. Playing the course is all about imagination with the sea in play on 6 holes! The beach is just one long and sometimes wet hazard if the tide is in. Take particular note of hole No. 15, a Par 3 called 'Reden'. It is potentially the most copied hole in golf which again shows what awaits your visit.

However one hole doesn't make a full course. North Berwick is simply delightful and when we send you there, you will not leave disappointed.
